What is meallion?

Meallion is a service that provides high-quality meals; our delicious, nutritional and ready-to-eat meals are delivered directly to your doorstep. Let us do the shopping, cooking and cleaning for you. All you have to do is heat them up, enjoy and repeat!

How does it work?

Log in to meallion.gr and choose one of the four available packages - 4, 6, 10 or 14 meals; select your favourite dishes; and tell us when to deliver them to your doorstep. It’s that simple!

Can I order just one meal?

No. Our service allows you to choose between 4, 6, 10 or 14-meal packs; this will give you a complete overview of our menu and flavours, while also ensuring an affordable price for each package

Are meallion meals ready-to-eat?

Yes! All you have to do is heat up your meal in the oven or microwave, following the instructions on the packaging.

How long can the meals be kept in the fridge?

Thanks to the innovative production technologies we use, our meals can be preserved in the refrigerator for up to 7 days from the delivery date, and maintain their nutritional and organoleptic properties.

Does meallion have the take-away service?

No. Your meals are delivered once a week, to the place and time specified in your order.

How can I keep my meals in optimum condition?

To keep your meals as fresh as possible, please preserve them in the refrigerator (not the freezer) at 0-4°C.

How many people can consume each meal?

Each meal is designed to be consumed by one person. But, of course, you can always share it with your friends or family.

I have to take my meal out of the fridge for a while and transport it. How can I do this?

To maintain the quality of your meal, please place it in an insulated bag and add one icepack at the top and one icepack at the bottom. How long the temperature inside the bag will remain suitable, depends on the outside temperature.

Can I freeze my meals to make them last longer?

No. We do not recommend freezing your meals; this would affect both flavour and quality.

Where do you get your ingredients?

Our suppliers are among the best on the Greek market. First and foremost, our recipes are based on the very best ingredients: premium and animal welfare-certified meat; free range chickens; delicious, nutritious vegetables and pulses; and top-of-the-range pasta.

Do you use preservatives?

No. Our meals remain fresh and nutritious thanks to the innovative production and packaging technologies we use.

Can I change the ingredients used in my meal?

No. Our menu is designed to satisfy a broad range of tastes and dietary requirements. We are confident that you will be reassured of this from your very first order.

Where can I read about the calorie content/nutritional value of each meal?

Each meal package features a nutritional table. All the relevant information is also available at meallion.gr, with the presentation of each meal.

Are any allergens declared?

Of course. Each meal presentation at meallion.gr includes an “Ingredients” section, with a detailed analysis of all ingredients, so you will find out in advance whether a meal contains allergens that you want to avoid. The same applies to each meal package.

Is it safe to heat up my meal in its package?

Of course it is! Halopack® packaging is the very latest innovation in food safety, for both refrigeration and heating. Made of 90% recycled paper, without glue or additives, it has been designed for heating and consuming food, thus saving you valuable time from serving and washing up.

At which temperature should I heat up my meal?

Each meal package contains information on the right temperature and time required for heating the food up in an oven or microwave. The same information is also available at meallion.gr, in the “Preparation” section of each meal presentation.

Why can’t I find my favourite dish?

Our menu is often renewed because it is based largely on seasonal raw materials, which ensure the best taste and quality in our recipes. If a favourite dish is not available, this is probably the reason why. In any case, we suggest you to be open to our new proposals because only in this way you will discover the panorama of flavours we have planned to offer you.

Can I repeat my last order?

Of course! Once you sign up for our service, you will be able to view all of your previous orders and repeat them if you wish to do so.

Delivery & packaging

What are the meal packages made of? Are they recyclable?

We use Halopack®, the best food packaging in the world, because we want the very best for your health and for our planet. It is BPA free and 100% recyclable, using 90% less plastic. You can recycle each package, simply by separating the plastic film from the paper dish.

Can I return the packages to you?

No, because our packages are not reusable. But you can recycle them simply and easily.

Where does meallion deliver?

The meallion currently serves areas of Attica and Thessaloniki. Progressively our service will serve more and more areas. To find out if we deliver to your address, enter your postcode here.

When will my order be delivered?

After you complete your order on meallion.gr, we will suggest three periods during the day, when we can deliver your package. You can then choose the hours that suit you best.
Also, we recommend that you refrigerate your meals as soon as possible, while they are fresh.
Please be aware that delivery delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We will do our very best to let you know of any changes to the delivery schedule in advance.

How are the meals transported?

We transport your orders in refrigerated vehicles that comply with all legal requirements for safe food transportation. Your food stays at the right temperature during transportation, in refrigerated chambers at a temperature of 0-4°C. This ensures that your meals remain fresh until you take delivery and transfer them to your own fridge.

How many times a week will my meals be delivered?

Orders are delivered once a week. Thanks to the innovative production technologies we use, we can guarantee a shelf life of 7 days for our meals. Moreover, with one delivery per customer order per week, we generate fewer harmful emissions and help protect the planet. This is also easier for you, because your weekly meals are taken care of in a single delivery.

I am experiencing delivery problems. What is the best way to contact you?

What happens if I can't take delivery of my order?

If you are unable to receive your order, we will contact you to arrange a new delivery time or date. In this case, there will be an additional charge of € 4, which you can pay to the delivery person when your order arrives.

Payments, refunds & cancellations

If have received a coupon; how can I redeem it?

Coupons can be redeemed on the purchase completion page. If redeeming a coupon that offers you a discount on multiple weeks, the discount will apply only to consecutive weeks from the coupon activation date. If you miss a week, your discount will no longer apply.

Which cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club and Discover cards

Payment Methods / Security of Transactions

Recognizing the importance of electronic payment security, EveryPay is a licensed Payment Institution by the Bank of Greece (Decision No. 280/3 / 23-7-2018 GG B 3010 / 25-7-2018), and manages securely card payment transactions, in accordance with the regulatory framework of the card transaction security management standard. Everypay is certified in accordance with the PCI DSS compliance standards. All Everypay services are made through secure connections with 256bit SSL certificates. EveryPay also supports the ability to use the 3D Secure service, an additional security token for VISA & MasterCard. The Payer then has to enter his personal secret code to complete the transaction successfully.
